Hi everyone,
I own an original ASUS 486/25 motherboard (as listed here: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/asus-486-25) in excellent condition.

Unfortunately, I’m missing the external memory card required for RAM expansion.
The board powers up and POSTs up to the RAM check using a POST analyzer, but obviously can’t continue without memory.

I’m looking for:

Technical data, photos, or measurements of the original memory card

Pinout information for the memory card connector

Any experience or documentation about building a replacement card or reproduction project

If anyone has an original card, I'd also be interested in photos or detailed scans.

Thank you very much in advance!

It could well be that the memory expansion board is compatible with other early ASUS 486 boards. The connector looks to be the same.

Check out ASUS ISA-486C. There are pictures of the memory card on TRW.

There's a card for sale on Ebay right now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/357028305138

Also vogons user Amigaz appear to own such a card: isa 386c cache apparently not working [now fixed]

PS. You should take pictures and dump the BIOS for your board and upload to TheRetroWeb as its missing for your board. I've also never heard about the 486/25 so it must be rare.
