Hi.
For some time I'm playing around with some VIA C3 CPUs, which are very capable in simulating 386 and 486 for sensitive DOS games and also offer pretty nice performance for Windows gaming (but they not even close to high-end Tualatin's).
But my problem comes from my motherboard - doesn't have ISA slots.
I made some research and found, that mobo with proper ISA slots (not that on some weird bridge) are diminished during that period of time. Especially hard is to found one with proper Tualatin support or VIA C3 compatibility.
So maybe Slot-1 motherboard? Almost all of them had ISA, and proper one, not on bridge. Some of them supported 133 MHz FSB (nice for Tualatin and C3), but I know nothing about slockets. Is there any model with confirmed compatibility with Ezra, Nehemiah and Tualatin cores? And... how much it cost?
What you thinks? Any help?
