Seems like dellrefurbished has been running a lot of sales lately....probable due to the end of 10. I already got a couple of SFF ones pretty cheap.
So they got some minitower ones in (mintower is better, right?) and I ordered and 5080.
Then I got to looking at pictures online. Isn't the point of a mintower over a SFF to have more space?
Well it seems like the the bulk of the space inside is taken by a huge duct running from the CPU cooler the outside.
The first picture I saw I thought that can't be right, looks like some mod that someone did.
Can't believe is is shipped from the factory that way. Apparently it is. Seems like they used a cheaper CPU cooler and put that in. From what I can tell they used a better cooler on the 5090.
And why have a minitower and only have space for a half-height dvd?
Perhaps why these are on sale.
I canceled the order. Feels like I did the right thing.
