I have a bunch of old PC memory chips for early boards that did not have SIMM slots. Is there an affordable memory tester I can use to test them individually? I know some of them are bad for sure.

Ready-made they tend to be less affordable, but you can make one yourself for very little:

(at least, if you're looking to test 4164/41256 DRAM chips, which are also the ones used in a lot of old PCs)
