Greetings!

Please help me with this. I've recently purchased an ATX to AT converter from amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SBHWH5N?ref=ppx_ … _fed_asin_title

I am planning to mount an AT motherboard into an older ATX case because AT cases are way too expensive nowadays, and I found a great deal on an old one (the screws mostly line-up well for this use case)

That said, am I able to use this push button from Amazon to connect power it on?

https://www.amazon.com/API-ELE-Warranty-Latch … 138&sr=8-3&th=1

I would imagine I would only need to connect the Black and Green cables from the AT-ATX adapter into the respective plugs on the power button.

If this is the wrong solution, is there a different thing I should try? I also plan on mounting this button onto the case, but that's for another day, I just want this thing to power on now.

You can either do that or just hook the black and green wires into each other and use the power switch on the back of the power supply temporarily. If you cause a short circuit, you do have to unhook them temporarily to reset the power supply.
I have converted several cases to latching using E-Switch TL2285EE. You do need a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing though.
