I bought this laptop for $12 at a local estate sale.
It came with the 18V power supply, still works and puts out the correct voltage.
What's the best way to repair the plastic standoffs that the hinges attach to?
Of course the Ni-MH battery back is as dead as a doorknob. Along with the 120MB hard drive.
This source says the maximum hard drive capacity is 512MB but the BIOS supports a 651.8 MB (Type 49) drive. We'll see if it likes CF cards.
The ROM BIOS is a socketed, PLCC permanent ROM. Is there anything worth hacking in the BIOS?
