Since vst2 is dead, and proprietary, now peopel are making CLAP midi softsynths. It would be nice fi they could be installed das a systemwide midi synth without virtual midi cables.

Note that a CLAP plugin for nuked-sc55 exists now. Currently it can be slotted into dosbox, but i'd like to see it made into a system midi driver.
