Hi everyone, just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know I created a new DOSBox launcher/shortcut manager (actually it's tailored to the many more config options of DOSBox-X). Yeah I know there are a bunch of launchers already but I wanted something that was tailored exactly to my workflow, which is Explorer-first in Windows, rather than opening the launcher first.
It's called DOSBoxLaunchX. You can download the release from there (requires .NET 9).
The main idea: you can create and save .DLX shortcut files that capture your launch configuration everything from base directories and EXE paths to custom DOSBox settings, mounts, and environment tweaks. There's also a built-in keyboard remapping UI. Once set up, just double-click the `.DLX` file in Explorer and DOSBoxLaunchX launches it directly.
Any suggestions/bugs/improvements please post them on the Github issue tracker. Thanks!
