Hi all, there is a new problem on Win11 only with the Pro Evolution Soccer 3/4/5 (and WE9) titles, which utilize DX8.

The games often completely freeze during the loading screen before or after the match. Sometimes, they just freeze for some minutes in other random moments, but usually not during matches.

It seems it is a problem with Dinput. The same freezing also occurs in settings.exe of the games when opening it and when first loading the controller in them. It happens always in Side selection screen in-game and in pause menu-formation, I suppose that the game sends some dinput calls in these moments.

I've tried anything: downloading vanilla game, disabling windows defender, including PES folder in Windows defender exclusion list, running as admin, compatibility modes, using project lasso to disable cores, dgvoodoo, dxvk, specialK, 4gb patch, increasing reserved memory in kload - kitserver (a utility companion of the game), xinput to dinput converters,etc.

Nothing works.

In rare occasions there is a complete freeze that requires a PC reset.

Anyone have a clue on what might be the issue and possibly how to solve?

Games were working perfectly with Win10 and before.
