It's thirty five years later and I am still interested in this title. I originally purchased Magic Johnson MVP (the re-branded version of Omniplay) as a budget title. The version I purchased only included the "End View Disk". I have always wanted to try the "Side View Disk". I know it was included with Omniplay Basektball. I recently noticed that disks for Omniplay sold on ebay (it's pretty rare to see IMB copies sell). I don't think that the "Side View Disk" was ever included as a Magic Johnson MVP product.

I've never been able to find preserved copies of either game ask disk images. I'd really like to own the physical disks at some point. But would also appreciate it, if someone could point me toward preserved images.

I've got an Amiga A500 mini and will load the game on it eventually. But I also will put together a 486 machine at some point, so I'd love to have it. Maybe I'll get lucky with an auction eventually.

Welcome to VOGONS! I just did a quick search on REMOVED and came up with this game collection:

Included in it is a Magic Johnson MVP game zip that contains 3x 360K disc images. Not sure if that's what you already have, but I figured I would mention it when I found it. I have attached it to this post. 🙂

If this isn't it, then I should ask... are the disks you're referring to 3.5" 720K or 1.44MB disks, or are they 5.25" 360K disks? If they were 360K, then it's possible that a later version of the game may have everything on one disk.

Though, I will admit that I have no experience with these games at all, so I don't know what the Side View and End View disks are referring to exactly. 😅

Thank you I will take a look. The version I had in the 90s came on a single 3.5". I see some Magic Johnson MVP auctions with 5 1/4" disk on auction, unfortunately they are not labeled well. Can't really discern the contents. Will look at the REMOVED disk images ASAP.
