Currently I am using DosBox .63 on Windows 2000. In trying to start it up it goes through a couple of lines but always comes up with the following error in DosBox:

Gravis Native Mode Installation Error
-----------------------------------------
ERROR: Native Mode is not Supported by Revisions of the Gravis Software Less Then 2.00

Contact Gravis to Obtain an Update of Their Software

I've tried disabling the sound but that did not seem to help. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Ignore it. It is needed just when you use Gravis Ultrasound soundcard for sound. Some games try to load Gravis Ultrasound utils by default ragardless of what card you use.

what happens if you disable gus in dosbox.conf? (just being curious)

Well before I had disabled GUS and it didn't make a difference but today when I started it up it and disabled it, it seemed to work fine. Weird how computers work, anyway thanks for the help.
