I have got the issues down to three and am now stuck. The one I would really like to fix is the Code=15 on the ICH10 SATA controller. Does anyone know how to please?

The issue has existed ever since I first installed W98SE, that is before I installed any ICH10 or X58 .inf files.

It says there is a resource conflict in one place and then that there are no conflicts elsewhere! I tried booting into Safe Mode, deleting all the devices then rebooting and redetecting them all to no avail. I only get this issue on this ICH10 system, on my ICH9 system all is OK. I also got the issue before I patched windows when the system only had 1GB installed.

I would also like to fix the two Code=10, but the priority is the Code=15 as I expect this is the reason SIV can't report the disk SMART information.

WMe is also installed and it has the same issues as W98. Both WXP-x64 V5.02 SP2 + W10 x64 Build 19045 22H2 with the Feb-2026 updates work well and report no conflicts.

Thank you for you for post and it's basically the same issue. I disabled the JMicron in the BIOS, I don't need it, the system boots faster without it and it's one less thing W98 has to deal with.

I used my NoDriver Driver to make most of the issues go away, but when I use it on ICH10R SATA IDE controllers I still get the Code=15.
