According to the archived page for the APS (Audio Production Studio), EMU states that support was handled by Creative Labs.

Also, as it is based on the EMU 10k1, that would be more in line with the SB Live! And Audigy cards.

Looks like 1.1 and 1.2 got archived, but for 1.5 only the helper files were archived.

When you start the producion CD it installs all the studio tools and a full AWE64GOLD Toolkit.
I think its also because the soundfont dev you can do with the e-mu for AWE64 soundbank.
I tryed picking drivers but my win98se dont want it. But the card and the input controller is there in device manager (with missing drivers).
The second cd is only soundfonts. i also guess the CDs from vogons archive are Version 1.0
