I have a machine that gives me a dos4gw error, regardless what version of dos4gw I am using.
I use PC-Dos 5.02, it's the same with only himem.sys or emm386.exe, the only thing that works for me is when using qemm386.
My machine has 64MB Ram on a 486/133-WB.
Perhaps I should consider checking variables on himem.sys ?
