I have a Kaypro 16/2E and its keyboard doesn't work. While booting, the CRT says "Check Keyboard" and it doesn't register any keypresses. I tested the computer with an XT compatible keyboard and that works. I have done a little bit of troubleshooting, and I think the ROM in the keyboard may be bad. I pulled it out, but it gives me problems trying to read the contents with my EPROM programmer and when it does read the ROM, some of the values randomly change between repeated readings so I can't use that data to program a new ROM. I have been searching the internet and various forums but I can't find anybody who has dumped this keyboard ROM.

Does anyone know of a dump of this keyboard ROM? Or have a keyboard that they could dump the contents of this ROM from? Or maybe even keyboard or parts of a keyboard for a Kaypro 16 they want to sell?
