Hello everyone, this is my first post here.
I recently bought an HP Pavilion 6350, which was fully working the first time I booted it, but all of a sudden the original Quantum Bigfoot drive is dead (I know real surprising)
So unfortunately the OEM Windows 98 install is gone. Super disappointing. I am hoping someone could help me find drivers for the system or possibly even the original recovery CD
The specs are:
-Asus SPAX Motherboard
-333MHz AMD K6-2
-The graphics chip is SiS I think
-64 MB RAM
- Unfortunately I didn't get to check the sound drivers before the HDD died, but the icon on the taskbar for the audio software was 3 blue lines?
I did find a few drivers for the board on The Retro Web, however they don't state what the drivers are for, just the file names.
I know that HP Recovery CDs are extremely proprietary, but I really hope someone has one or knows where I can get one, as I would really like all the factory software back 🙁
