When switching from wayland to xorg in my distro the entire dosbox display seems to change. There's horizontal scanlines on the screen and the physical game window actually reduces in size. The dosbox window itself is still the same size but with a black border. The configuration file is identical.

Is this normal behavior? I'd say it behaves normal in Wayland (no scanlines, whole dosbox window occupied).

I'm using the flatpack version of dosbox staging. I'll get some screenshots and post them here for clarification.

I'd much prefer to use xorg over Wayland if possible
