Hello.
I wonder if you can help me please.
I have just installed new version Glidos and TR1 on my PC with VMDsound but when I click the Glidos shortcut I get a quick flash of the Glidos setup box and then nothing.
Also I tried with a previous version of Glidos and when I get the setup box and click on tombraider then start game I get an error box saying
" OS detection failed" this happens with TRUB too.

Please help, I have had no trouble setting up Glidos on a previous XP OS.

Hi again,
I managed to fix it after looking at all the info on this forum 😁
I only have one problem now that is how to play it wihout the TR disk?
Is there a way??

My laptop is not happy with the disk spinning at full revs 🙁

and my CPU is running at 100% 😮
Ohter that that it is working just fine 😎

Download IsoBuster to create a CUE/BIN image of your TR disc.
Use Daemon Tools to emulate a CDROM and mount the image.

or you could probably find a TR crack.

I did all of that and it did not work 😕
I also have Alcohol 52% and that would not work with TR either 😕

I had it running so smoothly on the desktop PC but on this laptop it is running the CPU at 100%

I have Pentium 4m chip, 2.8Ghz. A Gig of Ram and a Radeon 9000IGP.

The desktop PC is of a lesser spec. 😀

Glidos has to up the the process priority on the DOS side, and it runs busily, so it will use 100% CPU.

Ah!! right well that is ok then.
I did get the CD drive to slow down a bit with acoustic silencer so I think i'm ok now 😉
