If I'm burning a CD and start up Dosbox 0.65, the CD autodetection code tries to open /dev/cdrom and hangs up for about 2 minutes until it decides the drive can't be accessed. The burning continues, but it is annoying that there is no option to disable CD emulation completely.

I discovered this doing with the strace command. HTH.
