i was trying to get the german version of flight unlimited to work today and run into some big problems.
installed the game game from the original CD and then execute the flight.exe.

first try with dynamic core around 40k cycles with no sound.
dosbox crashes and the status window reports the following before it closes:

with sound enabled (soundblaster) the game crashes before showing the intro with a DOS/4GW error (2001): exception 01h at 180:00022953...

second try with full core at 20k cycles and no sound:

after enabling sound the game crashes with a different error: Error [35]: Unexpected Interrupt=003D in FLIGHT.EXE at 0180:292A...
and the status window shows the "illegal read from..." with an endless loop.

i tested it with all cores and many different cycle settings with the same results. using a clean dosbox 0.65 with a default dosbox.conf.

someone else experience this?

EDIT:
search results shows only one unanswered topic about this game with a similar problem.
there is also no flight unlimited entry in the games database at the dosbox website. 😕
