I'm having problems running Iron Assault under dosbox (even more under XP itself so I've given up there).

I can start the game alright, the intro movie plays ... though sound cuts out shortly into it (this is just sound in movies, background music and everything remains playing). I can start a new game, explore the base ok, it's when I start a mission ... the screen goes blank, I can hear the music and get the "Dropping you off" voice, but nothing else after that, no movement or shooting noises when I use the controls.

Anybody have any ideas how I can resolve this problem?
