There are various in-game screen overlays (most notably, the coaching/substitution screens) that do not display properly. It is possible to play the game by just hitting Enter (or the button you've configured) at these screens to get into the game without coaching or subs, but obviously the gameplay suffers.

These overlays do appear when the program is run outside DOSBox. However, the game also runs at about half speed outside DOSBox, as well.
