This is a project I've been working on for almost a year and a half now 😀

When switching to triple play services, I really missed some of the tv viewing options I had before with the analog tuner, and none of the existing programs were sufficient. VLC, although it plays almost anything, is not really designed to be a live TV player...
So I started coding my own 😁. The program is highly threaded (this is actually my learn-to-code-threads project 😜), SDL based and should be portable (not really tested yet)...

So far only basic viewing and recording are implemented. I want to add support for dScaler deinterlace plugins and some GUI...I've only tested it with my IPTV provider so far, so I'm not sure how good it is. If anybody has IPTV, I'd be interested to know if it works. I'll also accept any channel lists 😉

Looks like a good 'futures' project - i.e. TV over the internet is only gonna get bigger and 'better'.

I tried it on my WinXP system and didn't receive any channels using your Slovak channel list. Are they perhaps geographically restricted or did I miss something?

Slovenia, not Slovakia 😉
Yes, these are the channels provided by my local provider. The 239.0.0.0/8 multicast subnet is pretty much like 192.168.0.0/16, these are only local addresses. IPTV is a big hit here, most major ISPs are providing the services (or have annouced to provide the service) over xDSL (and some FTTH) lines.

Oops - sorry about the country.... /me hides 😀

In the UK there are one or two ISPs offering live IPTV feeds but these are the exception rather than the norm. With my ISP I can get as far as 'registering an interest in IPTV'. Perhaps one day the interest will migrate to real world services!

Best of luck!
