Hello to all 😀

Im using dosbox for running some old university softwares, some of them forks flawlessy, but one requires "more memory"
I think that i need to free more conventional memory, but dosbox give me a maximum of 634KB free 😒

Is there a way to have more conventional memory (aka the full 640k free)?

Tnks in advance 😊

You'll never get the "640k free" because the interrupt table has to be
somewhere. Most programs that output a message about not enough
low memory have some underflow. Try loadfix before starting the prog.

the program is slightly old: 1991, it was written by a student, probably a programming-noob, i thought about some other error masked by an "insufficient memory", but the program doesn't have any readme/parameter/config...

Tried loadfix but didn't work...

Try loadfix with higher values. By default IIRC it only eats up 64kb.
