having a crashing problem with privateer 2. seems to happen during transitions between movies (which is quite regular in this game) and happens randomly at these times. thanks in advance for any help.

system specs are as follows:
Opteron 165 (dual core)
asus A8N32-SLI
2x 7900 GTO 512mb in SLI
2GB DDR500 mushkin ram
x-fi xtrememusic
1 WD caviar 250GB SATA2 (NTFS)
1 WD 80GB IDE (FAT32 for old game compatibility:)
enermax 535W PSU

that should just about do it. using DOSBox 0.70 (tried 0.6x versions as well) on win XP pro SP2. i own an original DOS version of priv2, fully patched.

changing ram, video settings does not help. tried changing core and was interesting. the game runs like crap on anything but dynamic or auto (probably defaulting to dynamic) but crashes. on other settings (such as full) runs like total ass especially when textures are involved but doesn't seem to lock up.

any help would be appreceated. this is actually the first PC game i ever bought myself and that was at age 13:) hard to let go of this one!!
