I am having a problem playing the game "Nobunaga's Ambition" on DosBox version .70 ...when I go into the battle (tactical?) screen, I am unable to place troops. I have tried a bunch of different key combinations, and cannot find anything that works. I also tried plugging in my old Gravis XTerminator gamepad (which dosbox seems to recognize), but none of the gamepad buttons work, either.

Has anyone else played this game on DosBox, and had trouble placing your troops? If so, please let me know what you did to resolve the problem (as it is impossible to play this game without attacking or being attacked by the computer). I did a search on this site for this specific game, and did not come up with anything relevant to the problem I am having.

I am running WinXP on a Dell Dimension 4550, with a Pentium 4 CPU (2.66Ghz), and 512 Mbs of SDRAM. I am using DosBox version .70 (I also tried using v.65, but have the same problem) trying to run the Nintendo version of the original game, Nobunaga's Ambition.
