Hi,

I'm new to dosbox and I'm trying to setup daggerfall to run with it. I've compilled dosbox 0.70 with --enable-core-inline and --disable-dynamic-x86 options.

I've been setting it up using the Dosbox Launcher v0.55 and I just want to know what settings are best. I can get OK performance from the ouside bits using Direct3d output but it slows inside and doesn't like cutscenes or sound much.

I was reading about there being some kind of dynamic CPU that should be used with this? I hope it's not the one I didn't compile.

Thanks,

Mikey

Yep,

I'm not sure about where that one came from. I do have wine installed so it could be to do with that. It's the option I've tried that's worked best so far. I've tried surface, opengl, and direct3d.

I'll recompile the program with dynamic stuff enabled. Can I still use inline?

Does anyone know what settings I should be using?
