So far I've noticed that DOSbox (using latest version, 0.70) doesn't recognize when I press the Up and Right arrow simultaneously, or the Down and Left arrow. Up and Left are fine, as are down and right, and this is quite annoying because I'm trying to play Tyrian2000. I've also tested out Crusader, and the input problem seems to be the same, so I've ruled out Tyrian2000 being to blame.

Any suggestions?

Question is is your keyboard capable of passing multiple keys in all cases. PS/2 keyboards should. USB not necessarily.

Yes, outside of DOSbox there are no problems with input.

I don't have that problem with Tyrian 2000. What platform are you on?

(Btw the mouse is a much better input device for Tyrian 😉 )

Windows XP SP2. I just might consider going to mouse, if that's the case.

Though I'd like to see if this can be resolved for future reference.

With space and two arrow keys?

I doubt it'll help but you can try changing usescancodes in dosbox.conf.

Maybe try SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windib as well.
