Hi all this is my first post on here, apologies if it's in the wrong section? If so Mods please move if possible.

I'm running SWOS through DOSBOX without any issue, DOSBOX recognises my USB adapted PS2 controller. Unfortunately it also detects my USB Saitek Gaming Keyboard. The PS2 controller won't work with it at all. Windows detects both devices fine and allows calibration of the controller.

Has anybody else had this problem or know a way around it?

FYI I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit, on a Quad Core and 4 Gig RAM.

Many thanks.

played with the joysticksettings in dosbox.conf ?
maybe setting it to 4axis will help

The config is detecting it as a 4 axis pad and a PS2 controller through a USB converter. I can press X to skip the intro but then nothing else works and I have to use the keyboard.

Oh and just to clarify I can use the Key Mapper to set up the joypad and inputs are recognised perfectly.

Thanks.

I've just managed to solve this using a piece of software called XPadder that maps your gamepad/stick to keystrokes. Genius bit of kit, highly recommended.

Now if I can only get the sound working on this to stop the crashing...
