Hello All,

Thankyou in advance for any assistance you can give me.

Long story short IM using dosbox to run some cad software which requires dongles etc.

I got 2 new PCs but they dont have LPT ports so i got a PCI LPT card.

Now due the port addressing I think I am unable to use this card as I don’t know how to find the address to set it in the dosbox config. (No it doesn’t use the default port address`s as far as i can tell)

Attached is a screenshot which should help you get what’s going on.

(There seems to be an I/O controller that holds all the address’s and the port itself must use those but has a "conflict" in the settings)

As you can see fromt he screenshot i am running Vista.

Port talk seems to work fine, in that the LPT port on the mobo was detected by it / dosbox fine. (Yes the mobo has LPT port support but it has no physical port or mobo headders, i have disabled this port in the bios which is why you cant see it in the screenshot)

IM just plane stuck now to be honest, any help much appreciated.

Thanks,

Aidan

The port would be 9800 *but* my build so far only allows 378 and 278 (wrong ports can do bad thing to your computer). Guess I'll have to change it.
