DOSBox not being recognized?

I installed the latest version of DOSBox and have it configured to full screen. I have windows vista. I tried to install simcity 2000, but when I click to install it always to use this ntvdm thing that says "This system does not support fullscreen mode." How can I get my program to recognize DOSBox and use it?

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.
