I've downloaded DOSbot and successfully mounted the new directory for where I have been placing all my games. After I unzip the game files I downloaded I should see some .exe files and readme files but all I seem to get are .adf files.

Are the games I am downloading not compatible with DOSbot?

What am I doing wrong?

Your first mistake is that you've downloaded a game that's possibly copyright protected.

Your second mistake is that you've written a post about a possibly copyright protected game you've downloaded on VOGONS.

Your third mistake is that you're calling DOSBox "DOSbot".

And finally, your fourth mistake is that you're trying to run an Amiga program with a DOS emulator (ADF = Amiga Disc Format).
