I am using DosBox v0.72 and am trying to run Twilight 2000. It seems to be working fine except that it does not recognize my mouse. I tried to lock the mouse in the window using Ctrl-F10, but that still did not work.

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 running Windows XP-SP3. My mouse is a Microsoft Optical connected via a PS/2 connection. Is there a mouse driver that I need to install in DosBox? I did not see anything about that in the README and FAQs.

Any help would be appreciated.

try the cvs of DOSBox
http://builds.tharos-online.de/

if that doesn't work you are out of luck until we debug this game to see why it doesn't detect our mousedriver.
However I have good hopes for the CVS.

Tried the CVS for 01/25/2009 and it still didn't work. I also noticed that I am not getting sound/music for it as well as for 7 Cities of Gold.

I do have use of the mouse and sound for Auto Duel though.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Mouse and sound are working for me in 0.72; however, they both have to be configured in the game's setup before they will work. i.e. "MOUSE: YES" and "SOUND: CMS SOUND BLASTER IO:220 DMA:1 IRQ:7"

That did the trick. I just assumed that the install file was a remnant of actually installing the game. I forgot that some old DOS programs used INSTALL as way to setup the game.

Working fine now.

Thanks for the help.
