While using DosBox, I'm finding that in certain rudimentary games like ZZT, Kroz, Castle Adventure, and Caves of Thor, whenever I release one key, all keys are considered released in the game. This makes rounding corners difficult: hold left, hold up, release left = full stop. Just curious if there is an easy solution to the problem that I missed, or if it even happens on other computers. Using DosBox 0.72, WinXP

Releasing a key doesn't stop the currently repeating key in XP NTVDM.

I should mention that the behavior is also present in the DosBox shell command prompt.

Is it safe to assume that this doesn't occur on most systems?

Not sure I am testing the right thing....

I press J (J repeats), I keep pressing, I press K (K starts repeating), I release J, and:

in CMD-prompt: K still repeats
in COMMAND-prompt: K still repeats
in DOSBox: K stops repeating

might be a bug. I see that our keyboard key release simply clears the repeating key code.
