This all started from playing the classic Dooms on the Doom3 for the Xbox 360. The classics on this collection don't seem to be faithful to the DOS version. So I dusted off the old Ultimate Doom Cd, found DosBox and the struggle begins. Been a hundred years since I did the C colon backslash DOS speak.
Have printed all the instructions I can find and I'm still confused. Could be my age is the problem. Not really sure.

So, using Win Xp, DosBox 7.2, and a wireless USB Micro$oft 360 controller. Thanks to an earlier post I have the screen stablized and now I'd like to get the controller buttons configured to fire, run, switch weapons and etc.

Is the mapper the secret to where I need to be working or am I running in the wrong direction?
