I figure, since the directory shows up when I do a dir command, it should show up when dosbox does a mount command, right?

mount works with paths on your real drive. not the mounted one
so to give you the solution type mount without parameters as well and a take a screenshot

How to ask questions the smart way!
Point to the real path to DFCD on your computer not the virtual path.
/EDIT DIE QBIX DIE! 😁
That was the problem. Once I mounted the real path, it worked like a charm. Thanks. (Yet another detail to tattoo on the inside of my eyelids...)
BTW, if you forget what your virtual C drive is mounted to, you can always run the mount command with no parameters to get a list of mounts.
Ah, What I did was:
Mount C: C:\Dosgames
Mount D: E:\
E:\
Install
Of course, the first three steps may be different for you.
My problem is that it wont install the large or huge pack (keeps telling me theres not enough space).
Now go out there and enjoy an elderscroll classic (As well as the climbing skill).
Great shot! or AIMBOT!
The freespace issue is covered in the guides over at the Bethesda forums or in the DOSBox readme.
