Here's my problem: I mistakenly changed the core settings on my DOSbox 0.73 config file and when I saw my mistake I changed it back to core=auto and when I tried to go full screen by pressing alt + enter, something crazy happened - the DOSbox console screen (DOSbox main screen went blank (as if all the print on it were erased) and DOSbox would no longer go full screen, and DOSbox now crashes - but it was running just fine in that netbook yesterday and for the past 2 weeks (this was before I changed these settings in the config file as I described) without any problems, I was able to go full screen, and play games in DOSbox ok until just now.
I tried uninstalling DOSbox and reinstalling my backup copy of DOSbox 0.73 that I have on a USB flash drive, but the computer (a Dell Inspiron netbook) somehow kept the copy of the screwed-up DOSbox config file and used this in place of the new fresh-start config file that was supposed to be there when I reinstalled my backup copy of DOSbox.
I also changed DOSbox's cputype=486, rather than 486_slow, and scaler=super2xsai forced. Could you please help me get my DOSbox back to its original defaults?
Thanks in advance.
Here is an image of my DOSbox's data (in the console that's behind the main DOSbox screen) when I try to go full screen by pressing alt + enter - this screen only appears for a couple of seconds, then DOSbox crashes.
