Hello, I'm new here! I've been using D-Fend Reloaded frontend, and I can't seem get the fullscreen option to work. It attempts to fullscreen the game, but then windows re-shrinks it and gives me this message:

"A program running isn't compatible with certain visual elements of windows. Click here for more information..."

Any idea how to get my games to be fullscreen/what I'm doing wrong?

Hello,
First I would like to apologize for my English, I know it's very bad, but I'm from Poland and I don't know English as well as I want to, so please be forgiving and answer my question using basic English.

I have the same problem like Armageddon Potato. DosBox (with and without D-Fend) can't run dos games and programmes on full screen with Windows 7. When I open a game and press alt+enter, I see black screen, keyboard doesn't work and I have to restart my computer. Anyone can help me? Maybe this problem will be solved with next DosBox version? Maybe there is some patch, which can fix it?

Update your video card drivers. Try different "output" settings in dosbox.conf.

I'm running Windows 7 RC 7100 x64 still, and I've got my output set to D3D and I can Alt-Tab in and out with no problems. Just FYI

I've installed the newest graphics card drivers and set in dosbox.conf "output=overlay" and everything runs great! Thanks a lot. Now I can rescue the universe with Commander KEEN once again :].

I know my reply to this topic is late, but when I took your advice of updating my video card drivers it actually completely broke my computer, 🤣. It's ATI Radeon's fault actually, but everything is ok now.

I will try what I can on this laptop, and I'll give it another go on the windows 7 computer soon. I'll see if what worked for Kaput works for me!
