when i run mortal kombat, the DOSbox crashes....mk3.exe and setsound.exe too
DOSBox exits without warning.
it's said in the intro command.
It basicly means that mortal kombat uses features which aren't present in dosbox (yet)

Mortal Kombat 3 requires a 486 processor and uses "protected mode". Neither of these are supported in version 0.58
The next release of DosBox might run it, but be aware that it will require a very powerful processor.
As Predator has indicated, there should be a Windows version on the same CD. It's not easy, but it is possible to get in running on XP. We discussed it here.
