Dosbox is great, but a lot of old games arent.

I was trying to play blake stone, but since its so old, there are no strafe left/right keys, nor can you reconfigure most of the keys.

I think it would be really cool if you could have dosbox remap keys for you. For example, in blake stone, to strafe left you have to hold down alt and press the left arrow key, which is very difficult if your also trying to use the mouse 😀

So, it would be great if I could tell dosbox that whenever I press S, send alt+left arrow instead.

You could have a rarely used key (scroll lock, etc...) that could be used to toggle the keyboard remapping on and off, or just a special ctrl + letter sequence, or you could make it so dosbox just checks the name of the exe it is running, and checks to see if there are any keyboard remappings defined for it.

Anyway, that would be really cool if you guys have the time to do it 😀
