Hi guys,

When i use commands as: copy, ren, del or echo text>file.conf it allways change name of file file.CONF to file.CON. How i can fix for example this code ?

mount c /home/michal
c:
copy file.conf Desktop\file.conf

can anyone help me please ?

This is limitation of DOS itself. DOS up to 6.22 accept only 8 signs for filename plus 3 signs for extension. I think it can't be solved...

if file.conf is a dosbox's configuration file so f is not needed 😉

Now you can use such commands work with long file names. You just need to install a tool called LFN Tools. 😉

If file.conf is a dosbox's configuration file so use your standard text editor instead.
