I have tried installing the game on DOSbox, version 0.70, 0.72, 0.73, and 0.74 to no avail. Yet I read that this game is fully compatible and supported.

Ok, here's my issue. I followed all the directions to mount drives and directories. So, I start the install. It starts up fine. I choose the language, and then I enter the directory. But as soon as I do that, the install straight up crashes, and goes back to the dosbox screen. It... won't install. It crashes before it can install.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

post your mount lines and what is written under every mount line
post what is written after you type "mount"

mount c C:\C
drive C is mounted as local directory C:\C

mount d E:\
drive D is mounted as local directory E:\

Edit:

Ok, I'm running into an issue with setsound. It recognizes the drivers, but then I get a message saying "Error: Could not save configuration file"

Anyone know what's causing this?
