I am sorry if this is already covered, I am a new user and having no luck in finding any answers to my specific problem.

I used to play a game called Rise and Decline of the Third Reich, normally shortened to Third Reich. I played this on my old dos computer, my win 95 and 98 systems with no problems. I had a winxp home computer which allowed me to use the program, but it crashed alot and I think I had to do some adjustments to make it work.

I now want to run it in my windows vista system, I no longer have the previously mentioned systems. I found it in the compatibility list which said it is supported.

When I now try to use it through dosbox, whether through d fend reloaded or on it's own, I get the following error

DOS/4GW fatal error (1313): can't resolve external references

I have Google searched for this error with no luck, and replacing my dos4gw exe did not help. I can not find the Third Reich program in the preconfigured listing in d fend reloaded, but use generic dos compatibility for it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really don't know much about computers and just use mine for entertaining my brain.
