[3 skulls of toltecs] Save Freeze the game

Hi

I have a probleme with the game : 3 skulls of the toltecs.
I follow the instruction, the game work fine but without save.
When i want to save i click on the save and the game freeze 😒

I want really play this game but its very difficult
Could you help me please?

I use the 0.74 of dosbox

the instruction hat i follow are:

It works fine, but the install process is a bit tricky:

1) Mount the CD under DOSBox and execute the INSTALL.EXE file.

2) Then copy the file \WESTERN from the CD to the install folder.

3) Start with the command PICTURE WESTERN.

Did you mount a c: drive?
Or please write down EXACTLY what you do once you start dosbox, especially the mount commands...

I have two directories
D:\jeux dos (c: )
D:\jeuxdos\toltequecd (d: )

I launch dos box

mount c: D:\jeuxdos
mount d: D:\jeuxdos\toltequecd -t cdrom
d:
install.exe
(i made the install first time)
(a directorie TOLTEQUE is create in c: )
(I copy the file "western" from here D:\jeuxdos\toltequecd\francais.pdi to here D:\jeuxdos\TOLTEQUE\)
c:
cd TOLTEQUE
PICTURE.EXE WESTERN

This launch the game (it work) but when i want to save i click on the save and the game freeze.

I try to download a save and the save is in .ICT
When i launch the game for the first time ( after install) i see a directorie is created in D:\jeuxdos\TOLTEQUE\ICT
this is probably for the save. but when i save and the game feeze no file are created in ICT derectorie.
I try to place a .ict file download from the net in ICT directorie but the file not appear in the game when i click on load.
I think the directorie is not read by the game
