Hi all. I have a problem with the program CREDO and WIndows 7.

CREDO is not a game, a program for working with graphics. It was written for DOS. It works perfectly in DOSBox, but there is one problem with running it. In Windows XP engineer ran it through a shortcut, which copied the folder in which there was a draft. After this, run the program. Her work environment became this folder. All information which he introduced into the program saved in this folder.

In Seven this way is not suitable, since there is a problem " when run from a shortcut. That's why I had to use DOSBox. When run from the cmd program works.

Actually, the question: can we somehow change the working environment is already running program? As the label passes the working folder, and generally how this can work?

The computer is TOSHIBA SATTELITE A200 notebook. The OS is Windows 7 Pro. DOSbox is 0.72.

Yes, the program must have some way to set the folder. Maybe if you give all the settings used by the shortcut and the location of where the program is installed at, we can figure it out.

The CREDO's path is C:\CREDO\CREDO.EXE. Shortcut hasn't any parametrs, it simply points to the CREDO.EXE.

To avoid mounting your c:/ drive, best move the creedo directory to c:\dos, then do
Mount c c:\dos
Cd creedo
Creedo

If that is all the shortcut does then this should be it.
