Well I got the game at a Good Will recently alongside with SimFarm, Got SImfarm fully working not simlife.
I'm running Dosbox 0.74.

Here's the list of sound source it comes up with during ther install process:
NO MUSIC
PC Speaker
Ad Lib
Sound Blaster
Roland.

So Naturally I selected Sound Blaster from the list but when I go load the game up It produces no sound, not even PC Speaker sound.

Any Ideas to resolve the sound issue?

Yes...change the IRQ in the setup program to match your dosbox.conf or the number you get by typing "set" (w/o quotes) in the blaster line the number after i.
Didn't work? Change in dosbox.conf the soundblaster irq to 5 from 7 or visceversa.

No it didn't work & the setup doesn't include any IRQ input options which is strange.

You tried both?
What are the contents of simlife.bat and are you running the game using that?

Yes I tried both & I loaded the game via the Simlife.bat & it's contents are"SML /640 S6"

I think it might be missing a / behind s6 to make it /s6
That could fix your problem...check to see if files are read only, as install.exe should take care of that properly.
In any case try editing it to be /s6
