Your screens are entirely unhelpful, actually.

What you need to do is tell us exactly what "mount" commands you are using before you try to run setup.exe .

I followed the tutorial and created an OLDGAMES folder on my C drive. In that folder I created a Silverload folder and placed all of the game files in that folder. For some reason I kept getting a "c:\oldgames doesn't exist" when I would type MOUNT C C:\OLDGAMES (even though this directory does exist on my c drive) so I just dragged and dropped the Silverload folder onto DOSBox.exe and it opened the DOSBox window with C already mounted. From there I type: SETUP and that's all I have done. Silverload1.png (one of the pics I attached in my first post) shows all of the game files in my Silverload folder along with all of the directories.

UPDATE: I just typed MOUNT C C:OLDGAMES and it works.. Guess I don't need the \

Guess it doesn't matter if I drag and drop or do C:OLDGAMES I get the same result. I type setup and get the setup screen with the option to Setup Game. Clicking on that option then asks me to input a letter for my hard drive and a letter for my CD drive. I type C for my HD and D for my CD. It then says it's copying files and then puts me back at the Setup screen. I can't find the files it copied anywhere on my C drive.

You've put the "oldgames" folder underneath the DOSBox program folder, which is why "MOUNT C C:OLDGAMES" works. Typically you would put the oldgames folder off the root; and then "MOUNT C C:\OLDGAMES" would work.

Are you mounting a CD or an image? It sounds like you're trying to use a rip.

Ok I got a bit farther this time. It did copy some files and it created a new folder called SILVERLD. I attached a pic showing the folder and the files it created. Now I get a prompt in DOSBox showing C:\SILVERLD>

I dunno what to do next.

Ok I see a problem. I get quite a few error messages when it tried to copy files during Setup Game. Looks like some files aren't copying to my hard drive for some reason.

If you "type C for my HD and D for my CD", then you're going to need to mount something as D - namely, the folder containing all of the game's installation files.

Ok I got even farther. I created a proper OLDGAMES folder in the root drive of C. The "Setup Game" option is now creating a SILVERLD folder within my OLDGAMES folder and it has created a SILVERLD.EXE file but I also get a warning in DOSBox that it has failed to created a settings.cfg file in the SILVERLD folder. When I type SILVERLD.EXE in DOSBox I get a message to "Please make sure the SILVERLOAD CD is in the drive and press a key when ready" . Problem is I don't have the CD anymore, just the files.

Actually i just found the CD with the install files on it but when I put it in my CD drive and press a key I just keep getting the same message in DOSBox about pressing a key when the cd is in the drive.

I am so dumb...but I finally managed to get the game to run. This whole mounting thing was a but confusing for me but I finally got the hang of it. Thanks for your help

you need to mount the CD drive as CD drive in Dosbox. See the 60 seconds guide and follow it to the letter 60 seconds guide to getting your game to run in DOSBox

Yeah I finally got the game to start but the game window is tiny. I can't seem to make it full size but I will figure it out eventually..I hope!

I do have one more problem. This game is a point-and-click but when I use my mouse nothing happens on the screen. Are there some additional setting or commands that I should try?

Yeah, take a good look at the readme, or search around the forum a bit.
