Maybe try using different 'output' settings, and set cycles to 'max limit 50000'.

Rcblanke, I tried all 5 video output types but nothing helped. I guess I still don't quite understand the 'max limit 50000'. I tried entering 'max limit 50000' into the cycles line in the DOSBox config file but I believe it just maxed out the cycles that my pc could do. Arn't the only possible values 'auto', 'fixed number', and 'max'? Thanks again.

You could start by posting your system specs, dosbox version, mountings etc.

I figured out that the game needed mci support for the audio CD. Now I have one more issue with the CD music. It does not repeat. There are no references to this in the game documentation. I read the readme for DOSBox and have not found any auxillary switches for the "-ioctl_mci". Would anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

My system specs are: Duel core 2.33Ghz processor, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and DOSBox version 0.74. I have placed the Lemmings 3D ececutable and the setup file on my C drive under directory L3D. My external bluray has a D drive designation. It contains the game CD. My mountings are as follows: "MOUNT C C:\L3D", "MOUNT D D:\ -t cdrom -ioctl_mci". Thank you for the help.

Cd music not repeating, there are two solutions, try a new svn built of dosbox as something in that regard has been fixed. If that doesn't fix it, ripsaw posted a program that helps as well. Just yesterday or so in a carmaggedon thread.

This is unrelated to dosbox, if you have problems with developer builds either learn
to compile them correctly or ask where you got them from.

Please excuse me for being naive and dense 😕 , I am doing the best I can. I have no clue how to compile. All I tried to do was in install DOSBox SVN r3708. I thought the purpose of this forum was to help those with DOSBox related problems concerning games & applications? I apologize if I have posted improperly.
