That's the way the game names it's install folder and the config file... I thought ! was a vaild folder\file character in DOS?

We allow it the ! to be present (just checked)

What are your mounts ?

mount c e:\progra~1\d-fend~1\virtua~1
mount d f:\ -t cdrom

Game installs to c:\biing! and runs from d:

This is a game bug that may never surfaced on real systems.

Yeah you might be right, I was hoping that one of the people that rated the game as compatible with dosbox might have been able to offer some help, it's rated for as supported for 0.73 so I might give that version a try.

The non-CD version works fine iirc., it's just the CD release.

I maybe need to find myself a copy of that... so long as it's English and I can find a floppy drive!

You can use cputype=386 in the dosbox config file to work around the issue for the moment.

Genius, I didn't think to try using a different cputype to get it running... thanks for your help!

Well it's a strange (though valid) side effect but that shouldn't matter, the game bug isn't triggered then.

After I ran "Install" I just copied over the "Biing.cfg" file (and also the other two files) into the folder with Bipro and then it worked.

Hey all, now that I am in the right place...this game is hard as HELL justl to get past the first day. I'm interested in either a cheat or a walkthrough, Helios, can you help?
