Hello,
I installed DOSBOX in my Ubuntu 11.10, which seems working. But when I tried to run another DOS program within it, there was always an error saying:

1DOS/4GW Fatal error: Can't find loader for file[1] --C:\mapmaker\mapbin.exe

But the file mapbin.exe is in the folder.
By the way, not sure why DOS/4GW is asking for loader when there is file DOS4GW.exe in the same folder.

I tried DOSBOX in my other laptop under linux Ubuntu11.10 for the same DOS program, which was fine. This PC is a desktop with Ubuntu11.10 server. Any clue for this problem? Thanks a lot!

It was:

mount C: /home/yifang/mapmaker

where mapmaker is the folder to run the programs. Thanks again! Yifang

Then it's clear. The settings of the app expect the mapbin.exe file to be in c:/mapmaker but the way you mounted it ends up in the root of c:
Mount c /home/yifang
C:
Cd mapmaker
Program/batchfile name

Should do it
